Ms Amber Topaz is said to be 'concerned' that Volupté's waiting staff are upstaging her otherwise ingenious new show: "Silver Screen Burlesque."
Comments such the following:
"It has to be said...that one of the funniest things in the whole show, was watching the waiters and waitresses trying to avoid flying items of clothing and limbs as they attempted to serve the customers. Their faces of fear were a picture and made the evening perfect,"
- is said to be infuriating the innovative Topaz, who is set to take the UK by storm with her frankly astounding show.
Silver Screen Burlesque showcases an array of high-energy, high-octane, and sometimes highly erotic dance routines inspired by the movies - including Brokeback Mountain, and, hilariously, Batman and Robin.
And the ferocious Topaz is in no mood to be upstaged by the Volupté staff. She is alleged to have threatened to set the Silver Screen Burlesque hostess Stella Plumes upon them backstage, and is also said to have retorted that "if they want to be part of my show, they'll have to start thinking about taking off those god-awful black shirts and learning to participate properly. And I mean 'properly.'
Ms Topaz's threats imply that any waiters of a strictly moral leaning may decide to hold their Gin Rickeys properly in future. Whatever happens now is anyone's guess - but the drama is certainly at full throttle.
