A rather spectacular Burlesque Dinner Gala will be held this evening to raise money for Children Of Peace - a non-partisan, multi-faith charity dedicated to building friendship, trust and reconciliation betwen Israeli and Palestinian children and their communities - via arts, education, health and sports programmes. The Gala will feature a full burlesque and vaudeville cabaret show headlined by some of the UK's best-loved talent - as well as a very special auction, and various surprises speckled throughout the night! We're all gearing up here at Volupte to produce one of the best events of the year, so book your table early and join us in the bid to promote peace amongst children in the Middle East. 7pm - 3am. Inspired by the soirees of the 19th century, acclaimed German soprano Tamara Stein has teamed up with award-winning Swedish pianist Samuel Skönberg to perform songs about the joys and sorrows of the greatest power on earth; featuring works by Grieg, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Sibelius and others.
The audience will be able to relax in the cosy atmosphere of Volupté, and enjoy an after-dinner recital in an intimate space. This will be the first of a quarterly series of events, bringing classical music to the heart of London for newcomers and connoisseurs alike.
