THE PICTURE OF DORIAN BLACK
Notorious cabaret singer Dusty Limits encourages his skeletons to come out of the closet, telling the story of his decidedly odd family and performing songs and monologues dedicated to Decadence. Cynical, surreal, moving and always hilarious, The Picture of Dorian Black was a smash hit at last year's Hot August Fringe festival and features a clutch of original songs and cabaret classics given Mr Limits' inimitable twist.

Night of The Blue Stockings - A Thinking Woman's Cabaret
Can a woman have a brain and still be sexy? Of course she can! And to prove it, a coterie of London's premier female cabaret and burlesque performers get together to reconvene the Blue Stockings Society, with a sassy 21st century spin. The witty and original cabaret songstress Tricity Vogue is joined by an array of fabulous females, including inventive and subversive burlesque dancer Audacity Chutzpah, and that inimitable, potty-mouthed agent provocateur Ophelia Bitz, for a night celebrating female intelligence and creativity in its many surprising incarnations.
Back in the 18th Century, when it was unbecoming for women to read or study, a bunch of rebellious ladies got together and formed their own literary society, called the Blue Stockings Society. And now you too can become a member of the society's new incarnation - we might even include our own special Initiation Ritual. Don't worry, we'll let the menfolk in too... and boys, you might even learn a thing or two from these ladies...!

Live band on at Midnight - tonight the amazing C.W Stoneking & His Horn Orchestra. Born to American parents but raised in an Aboriginal community in the Australian outback, C.W Stoneking is a truly original performer with a gift for storytelling through his music, and often hilarious tales. conjuring up an authentic atmosphere for a time and a place long since passed. His songs and rhythms are performed with a genuine hoodoo quality!
For this headline show, C.W Stoneking will be performing original songs from his latest album, 'Jungle Blues', inspired in part by his time spent in the Deep South, as well as as a shipwreck survivor off Africa's West Coast. There'll also be songs from his debut 2006 album, 'King Hocus', where equally vivid tales are retold in his unique style.

King Candy is here to play beautifully crafted arrangements of the big band hits that dancers used to love jiving to in the first half of the last century. Much of this repertoire was a product of tumultuous but brilliant star partnerships: Gene Krupa and Anita O’Day; Benny Goodman and Peggy Lee; Chick Webb and Ella Fitzgerald to name a few. They’ve done their best to find their own tempestuous starlet in the shape of the amazing Kate Mullins (flying in from various Puppini Sisters tours for our gigs) only she just refuses to be anything but brilliant.
